Sample Schedules for earning 17-30 hours in Early College

Students may take up to 30 hours in UA Early College and still enter The University of Alabama as a freshman. Students who receive 17 hours of credit in UA Early College are eligible to apply to UA without submitting an ACT/SAT score. The following sample schedules are examples of how students may complete 17-30 hours of Early College credit during high school.

Each course in Early College is worth 3 to 4 credit hours. Students are not required to complete a set number of Early College courses; these sample schedules represent just a few of the options available to students. Early College students should adapt their course loads to fit their academic needs and other obligations. UAEC academic advisors are available to help students make the best decisions concerning their coursework in Early College.
