Early College Requirements
Students must have at 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA in high school.
Students may apply to Early College any time from the spring of their sophomore year to the fall of their senior year.
Students begin Early College study with the required Gateway Academic Potential course, a prerequisite to all other Early College courses. A passing grade in the two-credit-hour Gateway course opens the doors to Early College general education (core curriculum) courses.
Once admitted to Early College, students must maintain a 2.5 or higher GPA in Early College courses, and must maintain enrollment and good standing with the high school of record.
Early College academic advisors will be involved throughout the year in helping students make the best choices regarding their Early College coursework.
You may or may not elect to take classes each semester. It's up to you.
