Tuition and Scholarships - Overview

UA Early College allows high school students to earn college credit while still living at home. This, along with our scholarships, is a great way to save money. If a student meets the eligibility requirements for the partial tuition scholarship, the award is automatically given. No additional scholarship application or paperwork are needed to secure the scholarship.

Students in the State of Alabama

Students in the state of Alabama with a 3.0 GPA are eligible for a 50% tuition scholarship. Click here for more information regarding the UA Early College In-State scholarship.

Out-of-State Students

Students living outside the state of Alabama with a 3.5 GPA are eligible for a 25% tuition scholarship. Click here for more information regarding the UA Early College Out-of-State scholarship.

Active Duty Military Dependents

Students that are dependents of active duty military members with a 3.0 GPA are eligible for a 50% tuition scholarship (regardless of the student's location). Click here for more information regarding the UA Early College Active Duty Military Dependents scholarship.

To maintain the automatic UA Early College scholarship, UA Early College students must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA in their UA classes.

Dependents of National Alumni Association Members are also eligible for a $25 University Supply Store book Scholarship (when enrolled in class).
