Ambassadors are current UA Early College students who were chosen to represent UA Early College in their schools and communities. They will be able to provide information to prospective parents and students, attend events with UA Early College Staff, and share their own experiences in UA Early College.

I find it so rewarding to engage in my classes and learn from them, rather than just study to pass exams. A few weeks ago, I was able to have an informative conversation with a member of our city’s police department about the importance of community policing and its impact on crime prevention. Using knowledge from my UAEC Criminal Justice class, I asked several thought-provoking questions that further deepened my understanding of the topic.”

“My best study tip for new UAEC students would be to make sure beforehand how many words they can do each day on essays. Then begin working on that set number of words daily. I recommend that they finish the word count and ideas at least two days before the deadline. This way they will also have time, if they need, to resolve any grammar and structure issues.”

“Make sure you know and write down when every deadline is for each assignment in your class. A missing assignment can be the difference maker for the grade you are aiming for. Make sure you have some form of email app installed on your phone and that you have notifications turned on for BlackBoard so you receive any messages and any due dates on your phone.”
