We are proud of all of our students, and understand the commitment they have made to their education. The students listed on the UA Early College Director's List have distinguished themselves, not only by their additional workload, but also by their ability to succeed at the college level.
Beginning August 1, 2022, the UAEC 200 College Readiness Course will be offered free to all students! This course is required for all Early College students prior to taking any additional UA courses. The 5-week course ensures that students are ready for college study and, upon completion, students will have earned their first 2 credit hours from UA.
To be eligible for UA Early College, a student needs to have completed the ninth grade and have 3.0 GPA or higher (on a 4.0 scale). Students will also need to submit an online application to UA Early College and submit the UAEC Student Information Form, along with their high school transcript.
UA Early College offers many scholarship opportunities for it's students. Whether you're in the state of Alabama or in another state, the dependent of an active duty military member or looking for assistance with books, UA Early College offers students a variety of scholarships and tuition assistance.
